The River has breached the Levee, the rain is ending and evacuations by boat has started. You will see the water has not reached the stairs and grass is still peaking through. It's so strange to see Mark & Lori's driveway. It's become a big marker in this whole ordeal.
Jack had walked over to my parents house in chest high water twice that day. Once he came to pick up the overnight bag, which was left in my parent's car in the garage (which was still dry at this time) and one more time to check on my father.
It's eerie to hear my Mother's wind chimes on the house, and see that this is just a few hours after my father's first video!
